Branch Line School was founded to develop a fresh paradigm in which students feel free to explore and discover, and in which they develop a true and lifelong joy of learning.
Branch Line School has an open-school policy for parents and families. Parents are invited to drop in to visit and assist in the school without prior appointment. A “to-do” list is posted in each classroom and at the front office so that parents know how they can best assist.
Branch Line School purposefully fosters family and community relationships, approaching education as a collaboration that is enriched by active relationships between students, teachers, families and the greater community.
Recognizing that children learn best by doing, our classrooms are hands-on environments where children explore activity centers, projects and develop emerging interests. As children progress in interest and ability, new academic concepts are introduced and choices are continually structured to guide students toward academic, social and emotional growth.
We strongly believe in the FULL child: ResourceFULL, PurposeFULL, RespectFULL, PeaceFULL, JoyFULL
